The Li Huasheng Art Foundation is a Public Benefit Nonprofit Corporation established in the State of Washington and operated exclusively for charitable purposes.  Its exempt purpose is to advance ink as a medium, language and means of expression in the visual arts.  The Foundation will pursue this purpose through four program activities: (1) the maintenance of a Public Collection of ink artwork of significant scholarly and educational value; (2) the sponsorship of Scholarly Research on the field of ink art and its contemporary practice; (3) the organization and sponsorship of Public Exhibitions of ink art targeting the general public; and (4) the Publication of books and other media on the topic of ink art and its contemporary practice by living artists.
